Wreaths were already part of the attire of Estonian girls. 18th and in the 19th century. An oub, or German hat, is a small, urban-style hat made of lace, silk ribbons, and artificial flowers. The Katré head piece was inspired by these two headpieces and was made using the master’s original technique, using wool felt scraps from the furniture industry. Products made using the felt-rose technique also bear the RECOGNIZED ESTONIAN HANDICRAFT label. First, the headpieces were prepared to decorate the “Silver Wool” collection. Since headpieces attracted a lot of attention at fashion shows, they became a product that you could purchase for your jewelry collection this fall. The Katré head piece can be worn both as a wreath and as a headband. It’s a stylish accessory for any special day, even weekdays are special!
