This black long sweater EVE with felt roses is part of Katré’s collection ”Silverwoolly” 2022. There are always woolen fabrics and woolen felt fabrics among the scraps. For me, wool is a very valuable material, therefore it is not appropriate to use wool-containing residues as sales products. In this way, a large amount of woolen industrial waste has accumulated, and I decided to use it as the main material of the collection. If you draw parallels between metals and fabric fibers, for me silk is equal to gold and wool is equal to silver. This is how the title of my collection could be written. The models in the collection are inspired by recycling, folk skirts, jewelry and being unique. Folk skirts are, for me, powerful colorful works woven on axes. The harmony of colors, horizontal and vertical stripes, folding and craftsmanship are the running themes of my collection.
